Odisha Staff Selection Commission invites Online Applications from Indian nationals for filling the various vacancies of Assistant Law Officer posts. Interested Candidates may apply Online by visiting Official website on or before 10th November, 2014. More detailed information is mentioned below.

Name of Designation : Assistant Law Officer
Eligibility Details :
Age limit : The Minimum age for the post is 21 years and the Maximum age is 32 years as on 01.01.2014. To be eligible, contenders must not have been born earlier than 02nd January, 1982 and not later than 01st January, 1993.
Educational Qualification : Contenders must be Law Graduate with Practice in bar as an Advocate at least for a period of 3 years.
Selection Process : Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Main Written Examination and Viva voce.
Pattern of Main Exam :
1. General English (Paper I) : 100 marks
2. Odisha Co-operative Act and Rules (paper 2) : 180 marks
3. Drafting : 10 marks
4. Pleading : 10 marks
Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to Rs. 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4200/-.
Application Fee :
All Unreserved and SEBC Contenders need to pay Application fee of Rs. 100/-. The fees can be deposited either through Online of Offline mode using the Treasury Portal or by the Conventional mode of deposit in the Treasury.
How to Apply : Candidates have to apply Online using the website of the Commission . After applying online, take print out of application form (OSSC Copy) and send it along with all relevant certificates in support of academic, experience send by registered/ speed post addressed to
